Dear parents,
Firstly, thank you very much to everyone who helped to run the barn dance last Saturday night. It was lovely to see so many families enjoying the evening. The event raised over £400 for the School Association, so as well as being an enjoyable venture, it was a profitable one. Thank you very much!
Our first parents? evening of the year takes place next Wednesday 17th October. Please sign the list on your child?s classroom door to book an appointment. The main purpose of this meeting is to talk through any ?settling in? issues and to establish targets for the next steps in your child?s learning. Each appointment is for ten minutes, to allow time for everyone to be seen on the evening. We will stick to appointment times as far as possible, so that parents are not kept waiting. However, please ask for a follow up appointment for further discussions with staff if necessary.
Another date to add to your diary is Thursday 8th November at 7.30p.m., when the governors are hosting an information evening for parents. At that meeting, you will have the opportunity to put forward ideas for things we can do to help you support your child?s learning. Details to follow, but keep the date free ? there is talk of raffling front row seats for the nativity at the meeting!!
